What you'll be able to do

  • Make 7 instant premixes on camera — poha, upma, dosa, sevayi (vermicelli), biryani, tea and coffee
  • Roast, season and cool each mix the right way so it stays fresh for 3 to 6 months without preservatives
  • Know the exact quantities — gram for gram — for a single packet and for a 1 kg batch
  • Cook every premix the way your customer will: just hot water, and a plate is ready in minutes
  • Store and label each premix with its real shelf life at room temperature and in the fridge
  • Pack, price and sell your premixes on WhatsApp, Instagram, to shops, hostels and tiffin services
This is a business, not just a hobby

Make it at home. Sell it every month.

₹40–80 cost → ₹150–300 sale A 250 g premix costs a little semolina, poha or milk powder and spices. Ready-mix brands sell the same jar for many times that.
Repeat orders every month Premixes are consumables — the same home, hostel, office or tiffin service reorders when the jar runs out.
Sell on WhatsApp, in societies & to shops Trial packs, monthly jars, gift hampers and shop shelves — where buyers already are.

Roast for shelf life

Every ingredient is roasted dry before it goes in — that, not a preservative, is what keeps a premix fresh for 3 to 6 months.

Jar, pouch & sachet

Airtight glass jars for monthly customers, stand-up pouches for shops, single-serve sachets for tea and coffee.

Label with the real dates

Net weight, ingredients, cooking instructions and the honest best-before — and the pricing maths worked through on camera.

Team GyaanShala

Your instructors

GyaanShala teaches practical, home-scale businesses to women and first-time founders across India. Every course is filmed in a real home kitchen — no studio, no industrial equipment — because that is exactly where our learners will be working.

Lessons run in Hindi and English together, with exact quantities, a sourcing list for every ingredient, and the costing and pricing maths worked through on camera. You finish with something you can sell, not only something you can make.

Every recipe taught here is one that our own learners are already selling from home — on WhatsApp, in their societies, and to shops and tiffin services.

Questions about this course

Is this course in Hindi or English?
Both. The videos are taught in easy Hinglish, and the recipe book is fully bilingual — every recipe in English and हिंदी.
Which premixes will I learn?
Seven: instant poha, upma, dosa, sevayi (vermicelli), biryani, tea and coffee — each one on video, start to finish, plus how to cook it in minutes.
Do the premixes need preservatives?
No. The freshness comes from roasting every ingredient properly and storing it airtight — the course gives the real shelf life of each mix at room temperature and in the fridge.
Do I need a machine?
Only a mixer-grinder and a weighing scale. A kadhai, a spatula and airtight jars do the rest.
How long does a premix last?
Between 3 and 6 months depending on the mix — tea and coffee 3 to 4 months, vermicelli up to 6 months, biryani 2 to 4 months depending on whether it carries fried onion. Every lesson states it.
Can I sell what I make?
Yes — that is the point of the course. Every lesson closes with the packaging, labelling and pricing of that premix, and the recipe book gives 1-packet and 1-kg batch quantities.
How long do I have access?
Lifetime. Watch on any device, as many times as you like, and download your certificate when you finish.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes — a 7-day money-back guarantee.
